The Ski village of Sierra Nevada is no more than 70 minutes drive from the apartment.

There are nursery slopes and more challenging runs for  experienced skiers - Sierra Nevada is one of the premier ski resorts in Europe.

Equipment can be hired at very reasonable prices

There is plenty here for everyone.

Soak up the mountain sun - take a dog sled trip through the mountains - take a cable car ride to the first station and be amongst the action.

There are plenty of restaurants and bars where you can sit and really absorb the atmosphere.

Children love it here - there are travelaters - see below to carry them safely to the top of the beginners slopes. they can then ski back to mum and dad waiting at the bar/restaurant.

Plenty of good ski and winter sports shopping in the village. and there are vast underground car parks beneath the shops.

There is normally sufficient snow from November right through until late May - the resort has snow cannons to augment the natural snows when necessary.
